Jesus enters Jerusalem and goes to the Temple, where he overturns the tables of the money changers and drives out those who were selling animals. The next day, he curses a fig tree that has no fruit, and it withers away. The apostles are amazed by this, and Jesus tells them that they can pray for anything, and it will be done for them if they have faith. The chief priests and the scribes look for a way to kill Jesus, and the chapter ends with Jesus speaking about the importance of forgiveness.
