Mark – Chapter 15: 1-26

The biggest disease in the world is sin. Jesus came to save sinners. This body is perishable it will one day get mixed in the soil your soul is very important for God.

Mark – Chapter 14: 63-72

Jesus being brought before the high priest and questioned about his teachings. The high priest demands that Jesus confess his guilt, but Jesus remains silent. The high priest then declares that Jesus is guilty of blasphemy and sentences him to death. The other priests and elders also accuse Jesus and spit on him. Despite this treatment, Jesus remains calm and does not speak out against his accusers.

Mark – Chapter 14: 25-52

Jesus predicting that one of his disciples will betray him and another will deny knowing him. Despite this, Jesus urges his disciples to remain faithful and to watch and pray. Later, Jesus is arrested and taken before the high priest, who questions him about his teachings. Jesus is then brought before the council, where the chief priests and the elders accuse him of blasphemy. 

Mark – Chapter 14: 1-25

Jesus being anointed by a woman with expensive perfume in the house of Simon the leper. The disciples are angered by this, but Jesus tells them that the woman has done a good thing and that the poor will always be with them. Jesus then predicts that he will be betrayed and crucified. Later, Jesus institutes the Lord’s Supper and tells his disciples that one of them will betray him.

Mark – Chapter 13: 1-36

Jesus predicts the destruction of the Temple and the signs of the end of the age. He tells his disciples to be on guard and to stay awake, because they do not know when the Son of Man will return. Jesus says that many false prophets will come and that there will be wars and rumours of wars. Jesus tells his disciples to be prepared and to stand firm, because he will come like a thief in the night.

Mark – Chapter 12: 18-44

Jesus is confronted by the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders, who ask him about the resurrection of the dead and about the greatest commandment. They ask him about a woman who has been married to seven brothers, and Jesus tells them that in the resurrection, people do not marry or are given in marriage, but are like the angels in heaven. Sametime Jesus warns them to be beware of the scribes.

Mark – Chapter 12: 1-17

Jesus answers their questions and then tells them a parable about a vineyard owner who sends his servants to collect the fruit, but they are mistreated and eventually killed. The owner then sends his son, thinking that the tenants will respect him, but they also kill him. Jesus then tells them that they are the wicked tenants, and that the kingdom of God will be taken away from them and given to others who will produce its fruit.

Mark – Chapter 11: 1-33

Jesus enters Jerusalem and goes to the Temple, where he overturns the tables of the money changers and drives out those who were selling animals. The next day, he curses a fig tree that has no fruit, and it withers away. The apostles are amazed by this, and Jesus tells them that they can pray for anything, and it will be done for them if they have faith. The chief priests and the scribes look for a way to kill Jesus, and the chapter ends with Jesus speaking about the importance of forgiveness.

Mark – Chapter 10: 1-52

Jesus teaches about divorce and the importance of marriage. He also blesses the children who are brought to him and tells his disciples that it is difficult for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven. After this, a man asks Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life, and Jesus tells him to follow the commandments. The man says that he has kept all the commandments, and Jesus tells him that he still lacks one thing: to sell all that he has, give to the poor, and follow him.

Mark – Chapter 9: 1-50

Jesus talks about the importance of humility and being willing to suffer in order to be great. After this, Jesus performs a miraculous healing of a demon-possessed boy. Later, Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John, and Elijah and Moses appear with him. After this, Jesus and the apostles come down from the mountain, and Jesus heals a man’s demon-possessed daughter.
